Steph Curry likely will return to the big stage at NBA All-Star Weekend next year.

The Warriors guard not only could be selected to his 13th career All-Star Game, but it appears he plans to participate in more than just the annual exhibition matchup between the league’s best.

Curry joined NBC’s “NBA Showtime” pregame show before Sunday’s All-Star Game, and stated he plans to participate in next year’s 3-point contest.

“Oh, 100 percent,” Curry said when asked by NBC’s Ahmed Fareed if he needs to participate again next year to match Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard, who won his third 3-point contest on Saturday night. “I already scheduled it. We’re going to bring some people: Me, Dame, I’m going to try and get Klay [Thompson].”

Lillard, who is recovering from a torn left Achilles injury this season, was able to participate in this year’s event, and recorded 29 points in the final round to take home the crown over the Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker (27 points).

It was Lillard’s third time winning (2023, 2024, 2026) the competition, one more than Curry (2015, 2021) and two more than Thompson, who famously won the event in 2016 over his then-Warriors teammate.

If Curry does return next year, and is able to recruit Lillard and Thompson, among others, it certainly will be a must-watch event during a weekend that has become less and less of a spectactle in recent years.
