Reports linking Arsenal with a move for Inter Milan youngster Francesco Pio Esposito have been played down, with Fabrizio Romano clarifying the situation.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, via L’Interista, the self-proclaimed transfer expert addressed speculation emerging from England and insisted there is no concrete development at this stage.
“Esposito is certainly appreciated by several clubs in Europe, but that’s all,” Romano explained.
The journalist stressing that general admiration should not be confused with active negotiations.
Romano further emphasised the strength of the relationship between player and club.
“Inter are more than happy with Esposito, and the player is grateful for the opportunity he’s getting. The Inter-Esposito connection is fantastic.”

He also dismissed the Arsenal rumors directly, adding.
“At the moment there is nothing regarding Arsenal and Esposito, nothing concrete. Pio is happy at Inter, and there’s absolutely no feeling that he could leave in the summer.”
For now, the situation appears calm, with Inter fully committed to continuing the development of one of Italy’s brightest young talents.
