Canada’s Megan Oldham tops qualifying in Olympic freeski big air

Megan Oldham seems to be at her best at Milano Cortina 2026.

The Canadian finished first in qualifying in the Olympic women’s freeski big air event on Saturday, sending her to Monday’s final.

Oldham already has a bronze medal from the slopestyle competition.

She will be joined in the 12-woman big air final by fellow Canadian Naomi Urness, who finished seventh in qualifying.

Oldham, from Parry Sound, Ont., finished fourth in big air at the 2022 Olympics. She earned a bronze in big air at the 2023 world championships.
